He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia before going on to earn his Master’s degree from the Physician Assistant program at Mercer University. He believes in encouraging people to speak up and seek help without fear or shame. One of the aspects of Psychiatry he values most is the opportunity to build meaningful, lasting relationships with patients—something he feels is unique to this field.
Outside of work, Philip enjoys staying active at the gym, hiking trails, catching live music, traveling, playing basketball and pickleball, and spending time at the lake during the warmer months.
