Our Georgia Addiction Treatment Programs

We offer different levels of care as part of our customizable Georgia addiction treatment programs.

Detox

Detox is a vital first step on the road to recovery to rid the body of alcohol and substances. Our medically supervised detox programs help manage withdrawal safely.

Residential Program

Our residential program provides a highly structured and intensive level of treatment for individuals who require 24/7 monitoring and support.

Partial Hospitalization Program

Our PHP (partial hospitalization program) provides the same level of care as our residential program. However, participants can return home or to a sober living facility in the evenings.

Intensive Outpatient Program

Our IOP (intensive outpatient program) provides more flexibility with half-day sessions to allow individuals to manage their daily commitments outside of treatment.

Outpatient Treatment

Our outpatient treatment provides ongoing support as people transition back into their normal routines and lives with flexible scheduling.

Rehab for Professionals

We provide a high level of confidentiality and treatment for professionals struggling with addiction with our professional addiction treatment program.

Employee Assistance Program

Our EAP (employee assistance program) is designed to help employers provide rehab treatment options for their employees who are struggling with addiction.

Sober Living Homes

We partner with sober living homes in Georgia for those who need safe housing while attending our outpatient rehab programs, like PHP and IOP.

How Do I Know I Need Addiction Treatment?

Deciding whether you need addiction treatment requires some serious self-reflection about your alcohol and drug use habits. Some common questions you can use to help you include:

  • Do you find it difficult to stop drinking or using drugs once you start?
  • Do you look forward to drinking or using drugs?
  • Do you experience cravings for alcohol or drugs?
  • Is your alcohol or drug use impacting your relationships?
  • Do you no longer find pleasure in hobbies and activities you enjoy?
  • Are you drinking larger amounts or taking large doses of drugs to achieve the desired effects?
  • Do you drink or use drugs to address withdrawal effects?
  • Do you drink or use drugs to cope with stress, anxiety, depression, or other mental health issues?
  • Are you having difficulties maintaining employment or attending school?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, it could be an indication you need some level of addiction treatment. The first step is realizing you need help and admitting you have a problem. The second step is taking action and getting help at our Georgia addiction treatment center.

What to Expect at Serenity Grove?

At Serenity Grove, you can expect a caring and supportive environment that allows you to focus on overcoming your addiction. We utilize a wide range of evidence-based and holistic therapeutic modalities personalized to your specific needs and goals.

Our treatment programs begin with a thorough evaluation and assessment by our licensed addiction treatment professionals. During this assessment, you will be asked about your drug and alcohol use, family history, mental health issues, and overall health and mental well-being. Using this information, we work alongside you to create a customized treatment plan.

What Level of Care Is Right for Me?

Deciding what level of care is right for you depends on the extent of your addiction. Each of our Georgia addiction treatment programs provides different options as follows:

  • Detox: Detox can be necessary to help you safely manage and overcome the withdrawal symptoms associated with alcohol and drug use disorders. Our detox program can use medication-assisted treatment (MAT), where FDA-approved medications are prescribed to better help manage withdrawal symptoms and cravings. Our detox program also provides 24/7 monitoring and support.
  • Residential treatment: Our residential treatment program is for individuals who have severe addiction, lack a supportive home environment, or could potentially be a harm to themselves or others. This level of care provides round-the-clock support and access to medical professionals, therapists, and addiction specialists.
  • PHP: Our PHP provides a similar level of care as our residential program. The only difference between the two programs is that with our PHP, you return home in the evenings or to a sober living facility.
  • IOP: Our IOP is a step-down level of care for individuals with mild addiction who can manage their sobriety outside of treatment effectively. This level of care is also well-suited for people who have completed a higher level of care but still require intensive and highly structured treatment.
  • Outpatient treatment: Outpatient treatment is for individuals who have completed a higher level of care and require ongoing support and treatment to maintain their sobriety.
